Andrew Niebler

Andrew is a Portfolio Manager at Stance Capital, co-managing the Stance KB Strategies. He co-founded Karner Blue Capital, designing the two-step biodiversity research and fundamental analysis process now underlying those strategies, later named 2023 IMPACT Asset Manager of the Year (small manager category) by Environmental Finance. Andrew brings more than 25 years of experience in investment management, financial markets, law, and compliance. He spent over a decade at Calvert Investments, serving as General Counsel and Senior Vice President, after beginning his career at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, trading currencies privately, and practicing capital markets, structured finance, and derivatives law at Cleary Gottlieb. He holds a J.D. from Georgetown and an A.B. from Princeton, and is admitted to practice in Maryland, New York, and D.C.
